Forte by Gordon Brown is the first solo publication of drum scores by the leading drummer of the world championship-winning Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band drum corps. This collection accompanies the band’s 40th anniversary album of the same name, which was recorded live in concert at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, and includes all of the original snare drum compositions presented in the same playing order as performed in the concert. In addition to the many traditional and contemporary competition settings played by the band.
Scores include: The Mason’s Apron, Cunningham’s Fancy, The Bride’s Jig, Abercairney Highlanders, Susan MacLeod, John Morrison of Assynt House, The Gold Ring, Campbell’s Tartan Army, Seonaid’s Tune, Glasgow City Police Pipers, Urlar, Dr. McInnes’s Fancy, Tatumtitabra and more. Also included are The Drum Fanfares Salute to DM Tom Brown & The Famed 1983 Trio Fanfare.
